	September 2nd, 2006 Aura @ The Mystic Jewell Tempe, AZ Audio Navigators: Hahn the Barbarian Nick Synergy Dionysos Pan Eros Moksha Mind Overmind Works has set a new standard for urban psychedelic music gatherings with “Aura”. It was a pleasant night that started off slowly with rainfall from the sky & chill grooves flowing from Moksha Mind and Dionysos Pan Eros. Syntax was also mixing visuals, adding to the inviting atmosphere. The Mystic Jewell provides an environment akin to a comfortable living room, and to us it felt like having people over to our home for an evening of music. People trickled in, filling the chill areas around the dance floor, and by 10pm we had a good-sized crowd. Many familiar faces mixed with lots of new ones. This turnout was more than we were expecting. It was nice seeing people just relax with their heads nodding in time to the beats. Most were taking to the hookahs by storm, and soon Missy and Lisa were both scrambling about to keep the flavored coals burning. As the tempo of the music was raised by Nick Synergy, people migrated to the dance floor and soon after, the trance beats started dropping with more force, and everyone started to move. Dancing on the Mystic Jewell’s studio dance floor felt great, and dancing in socks was a lot of fun. Syntax kept mixing stunning mindscapes on the 10’ screen and one could see many in the crowd mesmerized. Hahn took everyone into the deep night and then a collaborative effort with Nick had the trancefloor rocking well past 3am!. The people who chose to come to this event truly made it something special. Thank you to each and every one of our new friends and dedicated supporters who helped make this evening a success.
